Sod & Pruning

Sod & Artificial Turf

For the vast majority of properties, trees and shrubs are the base of your landscape. To compliment a beautiful landscape, a nice lawn is necessary. Having an established lawn can balance the look and feel of your landscape. At Opportunity Landscapes and Nursery, we offer a few lawn options.

Fescue grass, Bermuda grass, and Zoysia grass are the recommended options for the Nashville area. The sun exposure of your lawn drives the considerations for grass choice.

Opportunity Landscapes and Nursery also installs artificial turf as an alternative to grass.

Pruning & Trimming Services

Opportunity Landscapes and Nursery designs landscapes with the focus of “LOW” maintenance for the homeowner. The term LOW maintenance can sometimes be confused with “NO” maintenance. As such, it is not unusual for a “Low” maintenance landscape to require seasonal maintenance for plants to thrive and bloom year after year. This includes dead heading or pruning of perennials, trimming back flowering shrubs, and removing suckers and cross branches from trees. Additionally, seasonal maintenance may require removing unwanted plant material and weeds, exchanging seasonal flowers, and refreshing mulch. Opportunity Landscapes and Nursery recommends that you get on a “LOW” seasonal maintenance schedule to keep your property looking its best.

Investing In Your Property

Property value may not be your top motivation when beginning your landscaping journey. A nice lawn with tastefully patterned trees, shrubs, and maybe a paver patio with a gas firepit, in addition to your professional landscape design and installation may add immense value to your home.
